Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial activity nor to their independent professional activity.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods, if you ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last good, if you ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece, if you ordered goods that are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement.

You may declare your withdrawal in particular by letter sent by post, by email, or through our electronic withdrawal function. You can access the electronic withdrawal function on our website via the button “Withdraw from contract” and at:

If you use the electronic withdrawal function, you will be asked to review your details and confirm your withdrawal in a second step before submitting your withdrawal declaration. After submitting the electronic withdrawal declaration, you will receive confirmation of receipt without undue delay on a durable medium, in particular by email.

You may also use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees because of this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods.

Please do not return chemical products or dangerous goods without suitable shipping packaging. After receipt of your withdrawal declaration, we will provide separate return instructions where required. This notice serves only to ensure safe return shipment and does not restrict your right of withdrawal.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion and/or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

  • for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs;

  • for the supply of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiry date would be quickly exceeded;

  • for the supply of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed at the time of the conclusion of the contract, which can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market over which the trader has no control;

  • for the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts

  • for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery;

  • for the supply of goods which, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other items due to their nature;

  • for the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.
